12 weeks ago I started a new chapter of my life. I knew it was going to be a challenge, but I knew it was also going to be a huge learning experience. And now, as I pack my bags and head back to the Great White North, it's time to reflect. To be honest, the last 12 weeks have been interesting. There have been moments of awesomeness and moments of complete "bleh". Awesomeness as in hitting iron shots to 2 feet from the hole, creating friendships on the mini-tour, meeting fellow Hoosiers and Canadians at the grocery store and on the golf course, and making clutch putts when I needed them. And then there's the "bleh" as in struggling with my swing, missing out on the money by a shot, needing a human battering ram to open our hotel door, and losing a fellow Canadian (RIP Bob Faulkner - Thank you for all your support. You will be missed.). If I could sum up the past 12 weeks into one phrase, it would be "It's just the beginning".
